The rule of law is the legal principle that law should govern a nation, as opposed to being governed by arbitrary decisions of individual government officials.
Tyranny can be defined by that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry. Also cruel and unfair treatment by people with powers over others.
I suppose I knew this day would come. None of us wanted to face the world we thought was coming in the future; now that future is here. There is no Rule of Law in this once great country. People will not accept the simple fact that there is no Republic without the Rule of Law.
Our government officials don’t even try to hide it anymore. They slap us in the face with their lawlessness and smile. The FIRST foundation of civil society is The Rule of Law. Without it, there is literally nothing other than the Law of the Jungle.
If any ordinary citizen had done the things Hillary has done, they would be rotting in a jail cell for the rest of their lives.
What happened to due process under the law this week is also horrible. The police in Dallas played judge, jury and executioner by sending in a robot with a bomb and killing the guy who had performed the heinous acts earlier. Most people cheer that blindly without thinking about the consequences. If one person has no right to due process of law, THEN NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE!
If this issue, the utter destruction of The Rule of Law is not addressed now, there is a very real risk that the spiral of events that has been growing, first slowly and now exponentially, could erupt into literal war within our own nation.
If it does, you had better get up and look in the mirror because it is the collective inaction and refusal to demand the restoration of the Rule of Law by the American people that has and will lead to this outcome. There is no violent repression by police or anyone else that can stop it.
Only restoring the Rule of Law so everyone has equal recourse to the law will stop and reverse what is otherwise inevitable.
We have been taught since childhood that fighting solves nothing, but is this really true? Isn’t our country and our Freedom worth fighting for? History has shown that violence in the face of tyranny is often necessary. Let’s hope our government officials will wake up, see what is happening and restore the Rule of Law; then again we see how good they are at policing themselves.
Hillary Clinton is laughing at us as she walks free, while anyone else would be rotting in a cell is yet another dividing point for what is left of the country. One side understands the rule of law and the consequences when it is replaced by the rule of man. The other side asks, “what difference does it make”? Neither side will support Liberty so we are only left with the consequences of tyranny.
The Declaration of Independence states that “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.”
They don’t realize that by rejecting the Rule of Law, they have set us free. We are independent. We owe them nothing, not respect, not loyalty, not obedience. We Owe Them Nothing!!!
May God have mercy on our country.
